Real Men Talk
Since the age of 14, Muhammad has over 30 years working with youth, schools, families and communities throughout the United States and Central America. While traveling across the country, talking to parents, teachers and weary adults, there was clearly a crisis with our youth that is brewing out of control! Real Men Talk (Motivational Empowerment Group) saw the critical need to save as many young lives from deepening mental anguish, emotional instability, academic failures, and spiritual self-destruction.
Real Men Talk knew our children were not the blame but unfortunate causalities of a society where many of our children are born into negative environments and are drastically influenced by negative factors of the media, music, television, and unproductive adults. Many of our youth are desperately crying out for help. Teachers and parents began to loudly complain and voice their concerns that they had very little control over their students and children. Schools, homes, and communities were being overrun by the undisciplined behavior of too many of today’s lost youth.
There was a demand from certain teachers and parents for men to step up and begin to take control and provide guidance! With a multitude of backgrounds and experiences, we began to share our stories of struggle. The ultimate goal is to reach these students with guidance and patience, to help them look within for a new idea of self-awareness and self-empowerment assisting them in their lives and future success.
